We are now seeking a motivated, dependable and friendly individual to support our team in carrying out treatments, proofing and other services for a broad range of pests ranging from rats to bedbugs.

Every day is different and busy and you need to be prepared to get your hands dirty and to do physically demanding work.

Experience is not required as we will provide you with full training. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential to this role.

A full, current UK driving licence is also essential because this is a peripatetic lone-working role.

This post is permanent, with an opportunity for the postholder to be promoted to Pest Control Operative after two years, subject to review.

The hours of work are 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. Staff cover is required each working day during office hours, and availability for ad-hoc operational requirements necessitating work in the early morning, evening, weekends and bank holidays. This post is based at Morecambe Town Hall.

The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced clearance with the Disclosure and Barring Scheme.

If you are interested in providing an essential, valued and professional service to your community, apply now.
