Planning Systems Manager

If you have the experience and technical expertise to lead on the procurement and project management of new ICT systems, then we would like to hear from you.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual who will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions and procedures for ICT technical projects, systems management and administration, and delivering service improvements. Working closely with senior officers in our Development Management Team, you will be the Service’s lead professional as a source of specialist IT technical advice.
You should be able to demonstrate your ability to adapt and improve business procedures, have experience of system administration for back-office IT applications, the ability to write SQL to interrogate database systems, an excellent working knowledge of MS Access, the skills to utilise ArcGIS technology to create maps along with experience of creating and maintaining web content
This post is permanent. The hours of work for this position are 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. You will be based at Morecambe Town Hall (although the postholder would currently work predominantly from home due to the pandemic).
The Council currently operates an excellent Flexible Working Hours Scheme which applies to this post. Subject to the needs of this business, this may allow employees to work between the hours of 6:00am-10:30pm.
