Lancaster City Council are currently recruiting for 3 Seasonal Splash Park Attendants to work in the Splash Park and Kiosk at Happy Mount Park, Morecambe from May 2019 to September 2019.

Responsibilities will involve two areas, the Splash Park will which require monitoring by overseeing public safety within the facility, and in the kiosk you will be serving customers and selling tickets. The role involves water quality testing, carrying out regular daily duties such as cleaning and litter picking, cash handling, dealing with customer enquiries and ensuring a high standard of public service is provided at all times.

A First Aid qualification is essential to the role and therefore a valid certificate will need to be provided prior to your start date. Ideally you will also hold a Lifeguard qualification, but this is not essential.

You must be able to work as part of a team and on a shift rota basis, which will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays and available to work fully between May 2019 to September 2019.

Two of the posts are 22.5 hours per week, and one post is 18 hours per week, all posts will be working on a shift rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays. Please indicate on your application which hours you wish to apply for.

The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced clearance with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
