Health and Fitness Assistant x2
An exciting opportunity has come up at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre within the Health and Fitness Team. The main priority of this role is to help and improve those within Salt Ayre Leisure to improve their physical and mental health through different forms of fitness.
This post is permanent and the hours of work for this position are 13.5 per week, working Monday to Sunday including evenings on a shift rota basis. This post is based at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre but you may be asked to work at other facilities occasionally.
The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced clearance with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
The successful candidate will also be required to have a minimum of Level 2 Gym instructing or equivalent to be considered for this post.
Lancaster City Council has unanimously declared a climate emergency and will therefore work towards reducing carbon emissions to net-zero by 2030. As part of this role, you will be expected to participate and work towards reducing carbon emissions.
